Personalized Music

Here’s how the Fa-Da-Do process works, from concept to completion:

Idea/Intention

It all starts with an idea.  A song can be for something, somebody, some event, or yourself.   If you think it deserves music, it does. Get in touch.

Interview

It’s all in the details. We’ll talk about the tone and content of the song. I’ll ask you to supply as much information as you can on the subject. We agree on a timetable and payment.

Creation

Let the crafting begin. I go through the information and ideas we talked about, marinate on them, and craft an original, tastily-produced song on your subject.

Delivery

On time. You will receive an high-quality audio file containing your song. Surprise somebody with it, use it for an event, share it with your friends. Enjoy!

Pricing

    Fanfare:

    $95

    This is a 25-40 second ditty, much like the common jingle, that aims for a single purpose. It's ideal for introductions, wedding toasts or any other subject that cries out for a quick and accessible song.

    Paupsong:

    $190

    The 2 1/2 minute pop song has been rehashed and renamed throughout it's life. Now it's time we use it for our purposes. It's perfect for a subject that has plenty to tell but revolves around one singular idea. This is the musical form that can create those ear-worms you never forget..

    Custom:

    Have a subject that requires longer than 3 minutes? An entire life, for example, deserves more than just a pop song's worth. Get a series of songs linked together to form one large 'Epic' creation. Using detailed descriptions and even audio recording of the subject themselves, this can be unique and memorable gift.

Copyrights

All music created by Fa-Da-Do is, by default, registered with a Creative Commons license. Creative Commons provides licenses for copyrightable material based on the idea that various degrees of sharing is acceptable for certain mediums. All of Fa-Da-Do's Personalized Music is registered with a Non Commercial/Share Alike clause. With this specific license, you are welcome to share the music with whomever you like, even re-mix or incorporate it into a new work of art, just as long as you don't make money from selling the music and you share a remix with the same license as the original. If you would like a different set-up, where your song isn't shareable on Fa-Da-Do's SoundCloud account, and under a different license, get in touch.
